The Songbook of the Soul
Songs of
Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura.
Known as the "Seventh Goswami," his songs are not merely poetry but the very heartbeat of Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy, guiding the soul from surrender to spiritual perfection.

Translation
1) My life is ever given to sin; in it there is not a
particle of good work. I have caused others great anxiety
and have given trouble to all souls.
2) For the sake of my own enjoyment I have never feared
sin. I am devoid of pity and full of selfishness. I am
sorry at others’ happiness, I am an eternal liar, and I
delight in others’ misery.
